Defensive masterclass: Watch Arsenal’s new recruit in brilliant show against Southampton
Arsenal continued their unbeaten run in the Premier League, beating strugglers Southampton 3-1 at home on Saturday.
Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka found the back of the net to bury their visiting foes.
Italy international Riccardo Calafiori started for the home side with a brilliant performance to show for his time on the field of play.
Calafiori started as a left-back in a 4-4-2 formation, while his Italian counterpart Jorginho joined Declan Rice in the middle of the park.
Calafiori played 89 minutes and, as Sofascore reported, had 67 touches.
The former Bologna defender had high defensive stats, winning eight ground duels from 11 and recording three interceptions and as many successful tackles.
