“I won’t kill him because he’s my brother, but withdraw from police work” — Biafran soldier Gentle warns officer
A renowned Biafran soldier, popularly known as Gentle, has issued a strong warning to a police officer serving in Anambra State.
The video, which surfaced on Facebook via Biafra Information on Saturday, February 24, 2024, captures the soldier urging the officer to withdraw from police service.
Officer Gentle, seen interrogating the police officer—an Anambra native serving in his home state—emphasized that because of their shared ethnicity, he wouldn’t resort to violence.
“I won’t kill him because he is my brother. He spoke (sic) Igbo. I cannot kill him. I will release him the way I released that road safety man,” Gentle stated in the viral video.

While the tense confrontation unfolded, Gentle issued a stern warning to the police officer, advising him to reconsider his career path.
“Withdraw yourself from police work,” he urged, underlining his reluctance to harm someone from his own community.
In response to the soldier’s directive, the visibly panicked police officer revealed that he had been in the police force for a commendable twelve years but expressed dissatisfaction with his lack of achievements.
