President Tinubu to commission roads, power plant in Abia
All is set for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to commission Geometric Power Plan and another set of three roads rehabilitated by the Governor of Abia State, Alex Chioma Otti, Monday, February 26.
This was disclosed in a release signed by the State Commissioner of Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kanu, made available to newsmen on Saturday morning.
This commissioning of the Geometric Power Plant in Aba on Monday by President Tinubu will provide uninterrupted power supply to Aba and its environs, the statement said.
The statement by the Abia government declared that: “The roads to be commissioned are; Omoba road, Jubilee road and Queens street in Abia state.
“It equally marks the 9th road being commissioned in Aba since Dr Alex Otti, OFR, took over the reins of power in the state eight months ago.
“This exercise is in addition to the commissioning of the Geometric Power Plant in Aba on Monday, February 26th by Mr President; a power plant that will provide uninterrupted power supply to Aba and its environs.
The trip to the southeastern part of the country marks President Tinubu’s first commissioning of a road constructed by an incumbent governor in Nigeria.
