“If you had ₦20 million, would you já pa?” — Nigerians respond positively, express optimism

Nigerians have engaged in a discourse on a widely-followed Facebook group, responding to a query that posited whether they would contemplate relocating from the country if endowed with a sum of ₦20 million.

Numerous respondents expressed a steadfast commitment to remaining within the national borders, citing an enduring belief in the potential for positive developments within the nation.

Their responses collectively underscore a prevailing sentiment of resilience and loyalty to their homeland.

Kolawole Michael said , “Japa nioo, #20 million business can’t survived in our Nigeria of nowadays… Biko”

Olufemi Akinkunmi responded, “Those that have japa already know the difference between home and away, if I get such money I consult expert to know the good business that will yield good return. Nigeria is still better to leave when you have reasonable money than being a second citizen.”

“Stay in Nigeria permanently. I will just go and build small self contained inside one correct village and face my Agriculture squarely,” Akintayo Opeyemi wrote.

In his own response, Maruff Abidogun said, “If I have 20million I will try as much as possible to start small business and I will employ some youth that they don’t have work Nigeria is our fathers land let build it together.”

Mathew Dare expressed optimism, saying, “That N20m will even go a long way to hasten the processing, I will japa with all my family.”

Akinwumi Olasunbo said, “I we (sic) stay in Nigeria what i my looking for is it not money once i see that huge of money i we jeje stay in my country.african is my fathers land.”

Bee Josh advised, “All of that say japa. You get family for overseas or you get work there or any business. That 20m no get value for Canada It can sustain you for 1year before u will turn to homeless.

“I will rather stay in Nigeria look for better business may God help us No be everybody that japa Dey jegbadun now for where ever they are.”
