Police arrested 67 ‘Gay Suspects’ in Delta
The Nigeria Police Force, Delta State Command has arrested 67 ‘gay suspects’ in the Ekpan community of Uvwie Local Government Area of the State.
Bright Edafe, the command’s Public Relations Officer unveiled this in a tweet today.
The suspects, according to Edafe, were caught holding gay ceremony at Teebulus Hotel along Refinery Road, Ekpan on Monday, 28th August, 2023.
He stated, “Delta State Police Command has arrested 67 gay suspects at a hotel on 28/8/2023.”
Speaking further, he maintained “they were at a suspected gay wedding ceremony between Daniel Pius ‘m’ (groom) and Maxwell Ohwonowho (bride) at Teebulus Hotel along Refinery Road, Ekpan. I paraded them today at Ekpan Police Station.”
A viral video showing the suspects has also surfaced on social media.
