President Tinubu meets northern governors at presidential villa
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sunday evening in Abuja met with govenors of states that share boundary with Niger Republic at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting was part of consultations by the President on the situation in Niger.
The governors in attendance were the governor of Sokoto State, H.E. Ahmed Aliyu, governor of Jigawa State, H.E. Umar Namadi, governor of Yobe State, H.E. Mai Malam Buni, governor of Kebbi State, H.E. Idris Nasir and governor of Katsina State, H.E. Dr Dikko Radda.
The meeting according to rumours was to discuss non military solutions to the political situation in Niger Republic.
