EKSG celebrates Bisi Fayemi 60th birthday anniversary

The Ekiti State Government (EKSG) has celebrated the former first lady, women’s rights advocate, and policy advocate, Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi, on the occasion of her 60th birthday anniversary.

At the occasion held at the All Souls’ Church, Lekki Phase 1, in Lagos State, Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji described her as a woman of excellence, tenderheartedness and integrity and commended her positive impacts on the state’s progress and the Ekiti people at large.

He said, “I celebrate her exceptional contributions to the development of our dear state, her great works in the defense of women and the girl child, as well as her wise counsel. Happy birthday, Your Excellency, Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi.”

Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi is the wife of Ex-Governor Kayode Fayemi, who served the state between 2010 and 2014 and 2018 and 2022. In 2007, Women’s Funding Network gave her the “Changing the Face of Philanthropy” award. In 2009, she was also listed among the 20 most influential women in Africa by the New African Magazine.
