DSS investigates staff attack in Adamawa
The Department of State Service, (DSS) has begun investigation into the attack on its staff in Adamawa.
The Department alerted the public on the ongoing probe on the purported assault.
DSS National Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, disclosed this on Sunday, April 16, 2023 in Abuja.
While reacting to the viral video of the incident on social media, he maintained that the maltreatment was suspiciously from political criminals in Adamawa State.
“The Service wishes to inform the public that it has commenced a full investigation into the circumstances that led to the incident,” the statement reads.
Afunanya called on all concerned political parties, particularly the People’s Democratic Party and All Progressive Congress, to remain calm while awaiting the winner of the supplementary governorship election in the state.
