Akeugberu Hails Prof Babatunde’s Appointment as Oyo SSG

The Grand Chief Imam of Oyoland, Sheikh (Barr.) Bilal Akinola Akeugberu, has congratulated Professor Musibau Babatunde on his appointment as the Secretary to the Oyo State Government (SSG) by Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.

In a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday, the revered Islamic leader described the appointment as well-deserved, attributing it to divine grace and Professor Babatunde’s outstanding intellectual and administrative credentials.

“With utmost gratitude to Allah (SWT), I congratulate Professor Musibau Babatunde on this well-deserved appointment as Secretary to the Oyo State Government,” the Chief Imam said. “This appointment reflects Allah’s favour upon him, as well as his exceptional educational and intellectual capacity, humility, loyalty, diligence, and unwavering commitment to public service.”

Sheikh Akeugberu noted that the choice of Professor Babatunde as SSG is a recognition of his years of integrity and dedication, adding that it affirms his readiness to serve Oyo State at the highest level of administration.

He offered prayers for the new SSG, asking Allah to grant him wisdom, strength, and divine guidance in the discharge of his duties.

“I pray that Allah (SWT) grants him the wisdom and strength required to carry out his responsibilities effectively, and that his tenure ushers in peace, progress, and sustainable development for Oyo State and humanity at large,” he added.

The Grand Chief Imam further prayed that Professor Babatunde’s tenure would be a monumental success.
