Ifelodun LG Chairman Congratulates Ikirun-Born Ajileye on NDLEA Commandant of Narcotics Decoration

The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. (Alh.) Hassan Kamoru Okanlawon, has extended warm congratulations to Hajia Serifat Aderonke Ajileye on her official decoration as Commandant of Narcotics at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, Hon. Okanlawon described Hajia Ajileye as “a role model, a committed officer, and a source of pride to the people of Ikirun and Ifelodun at large.” He lauded her dedication to public service, particularly in drug control and national security, noting that her achievement has brought honor to both her family and community.

The council boss prayed for divine guidance and strength for Ajileye in her new assignment, expressing confidence that she would deliver with distinction.

Hon. Okanlawon also seized the moment to encourage young girls and women in Ikirun and beyond to pursue their education and aspirations with focus and determination. “No woman’s education ends in the kitchen. With commitment and vision, every girl child can rise to greatness, just like Hajia Ajileye,” he affirmed.

Reiterating his call for unity and progress, Okanlawon urged prominent sons and daughters of Ikirun to support the “New Ikirun Agenda” by contributing to the town’s growth. “Ikirun is our heritage. It is time to unite, develop, and make it our paradise,” he declared.

He concluded by congratulating the Ajileye family, the people of Ikirun, and the entire Osun State on what he termed a “collective pride” and “monumental achievement.”
