The visit, accompanied by top senior officers including DIG Ben Nebeolisa Okolo (Force Intelligence Department), DIG Adebowale Williams (ICT), AIG Adeleke Taiwo (Operations), and CP Felix Obe (Federal Operations), also highlighted the Nigeria Police Force’s partnership with EIB STRATOC, an indigenous security solutions provider.
Speaking during the inspection, the IGP stressed that intelligence gathering remains the cornerstone of modern policing. He reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to leveraging technology, innovation, and expert collaborations to stay ahead of evolving security threats.
> “Intelligence is the bedrock of effective policing in the 21st century. Under my leadership, the Nigeria Police will continue to harness technology, innovation, and expertise, both indigenous and foreign, to strengthen national security and build community trust,” Egbetokun stated.
He commended the expertise of EIB STRATOC while urging other security experts and Nigerians to collaborate with the police and other security agencies in advancing technology-driven intelligence gathering for improved internal security.
The strategic engagement, according to the IGP, will not only enhance operational capabilities but also deepen synergy between the Police and critical stakeholders in the security sector.
