The Saudi aid organization KSrelief has provided a generous gift of 100 tonnes of dates to Pakistan as a gesture of friendship and support.
The presentation ceremony took place at the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad, with Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki handing over the gift on behalf of KSrelief, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
In his remarks, Al-Malki extended gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering commitment to global humanitarian efforts. He emphasized the Kingdom’s dedication to aiding nations worldwide through initiatives like this.
Brig. Alamgeer Ayub, the director general of the military wing of Pakistan’s Cabinet Division, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the thoughtful gift. He acknowledged the deep and enduring fraternal ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, describing the gesture as a testament to their strong relationship.
Ayub further highlighted the Kingdom’s consistent support for Pakistan, particularly during challenging times. He noted that Saudi Arabia‘s continued assistance exemplifies its solidarity with the Pakistani people.
