Oshodi-Isolo LG chairman distributes rams, cows for Eid Adha festivities

Joy filled the air in Oshodi-Isolo as the executive chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, distributed rams and cows to local communities, central mosques, and residents in preparation for the 1445 AH Eid Adha celebrations.

Chairman Oloyede highlighted that this gesture aims to support residents during tough economic times, ensuring that families can celebrate the festival with ease.

He emphasised his administration’s commitment to bringing joy to the community while continuing with extensive infrastructural development projects.

To ensure fair distribution, Oloyede formed a committee of notable individuals tasked with identifying deserving groups and individuals. Recipients of the Eid support included the Community Development Committee (CDC), artisans, party members, the less privileged, widows, and people living with disabilities.

In his message to the Muslim community, Oloyede wished them a happy Eid Adha in advance and encouraged adherence to the teachings of Allah during the celebration.
