Gaza:Egypt to host French foreign minister for talks
Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry is meeting with his French counterpart, Stéphane Séjourné, for talks on Wednesday in Cairo.
This was contained in a statement released by the ministry on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the talks will be held at the Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital and are expected to provide a platform for meaningful engagement between Egypt and France on various fronts.
Among topics to be discussed is the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which has garnered international attention and concern.
Shoukry and Séjourné are likely to also exchange views on efforts to address the situation and explore avenues for promoting peace and stability in the region, security threats, political developments, and economic cooperation.
