NNPC Strengthens Global Energy Ties, Pushes for Sustainable Growth at ADIPEC 2025
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has deepened its global partnerships and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing energy equity and sustainability during the 2025 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC).
Group Chief Executive Officer, Bashir Bayo Ojulari, led the NNPC delegation to the event and toured the company’s exhibition stand, where he was welcomed by Executive Vice President, Business Services, Sophia Mbakwe, and other senior officials. The engagement showcased NNPC’s active role in shaping global energy discussions and driving investment collaboration.
The NNPC Board Chairman and other board members were also in attendance, reflecting unified leadership and support for the company’s strategic direction on the world stage.
Speaking at a closed-door meeting of the Global Oil Club, Ojulari emphasized the importance of partnership and innovation in addressing Africa’s energy challenges.

In another session, Executive Vice President, Upstream, Udy Ntia, represented the company in the Global Strategy panel titled “Beyond the Barrel: The Future of Upstream Strategy.” He reiterated NNPC’s readiness to co-invest in cutting-edge solutions to strengthen Nigeria’s energy output and sustainability efforts.
