Tension Rises Over APC Primary Results as Party Urges Calm and Patience in Shomolu

Tensions flared following the APC primary election held earlier today in Shomolu as controversy surrounds the announcement of a supposed winner.
While one aspirant is being paraded as the winner, concerned stakeholders have dismissed the declaration, insisting that no official result has been confirmed.
According to sources close to the process, “Anyone parading himself as party flag bearer is null and void until party declaration.”
One of the aspirants has called for calm among supporters, encouraging them to wait for the official publication from the state electoral committee scheduled for Monday.
“Supporters should remain calm and wait for the final publication from the state electoral committee on Monday,” the aspirant appealed.
This development comes as the APC continues to caution the public against fake or unofficial election results. The party has a track record of warning against premature announcements and has once again reiterated the importance of relying on credible sources.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) has a history of warning against fake election results. Given the recent primaries, it seems they’re maintaining this stance,” a party source said.
Supporters and the public are being urged to disregard unverified reports circulating online and wait for the official declaration. The party emphasized that the official announcement will be made next week Monday, and any claims made before then should be treated as false.
As anticipation builds, the political atmosphere remains tense. However, party leaders continue to advocate for patience and order until the authentic results are made public.
