India: Man murders three family members, surrenders to police

A shocking incident unfolded in Bengaluru, India, on Wednesday evening when a 42-year-old Home Guard, simply identified as Gangaraju, allegedly killed his wife, daughter, and niece in a moment of uncontrolled rage.
Following the brutal act, he calmly surrendered at the Peenya police station, carrying the blood-stained machete used in the crime, according to Indian media reports.
Gangaraju, a resident of Chokkasandra near Jalahalli Cross, had called the emergency helpline at 4 p.m., confessing to the killings. Police rushed to his home and discovered the lifeless bodies of Bhagya (36), Navya (19), and Hemavathi (23) in pools of blood.
However, Gangaraju was not present at the scene. Minutes later, he voluntarily walked into the police station, admitting his actions.
Investigators revealed that Gangaraju, posted at the Hebbagodi police station, frequently quarreled with his wife over suspicions of infidelity.
The confrontation turned deadly when Navya and Hemavathi tried to intervene, reportedly provoking his uncontrollable rage.
