The rising death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 44,930, with injuries surpassing 106,624, as confirmed by the enclave’s Health Ministry.

In its latest update, the ministry reported 55 fatalities and 170 injuries resulting from four targeted attacks on families over the last 24 hours.

The dire situation is compounded by blocked roads and inaccessible rubble, making rescue efforts nearly impossible.

The conflict, described by many as genocidal, began with a Hamas-led cross-border assault in October 2023, prompting a large-scale Israeli military response.

Allegations of deliberate population destruction and restricted aid deliveries have drawn widespread international criticism.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has intensified scrutiny, issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Also, a genocide case against Israel is under review at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), increasing the legal and moral pressures surrounding the conflict.
