Trucking strangest cargoes: From rotten dead bodies to bombs, truck drivers share their most unforgettable loads

In a shocking revelation, truck drivers, who have been regarded as the shakers and movers of economies across the globe, have shared tales of the weirdest and most unusual cargoes they’ve ever delivered.

From the bizarre to the disturbing, these drivers have seen it all. In a stunning confession on Trashy Trucker Media’s Facebook page,  one of the drivers revealed how he transported a shipment of rotten dead bodies, while another driver shared his experience of hauling a load of snowballs to a rich family.

But that’s not all – some drivers have even been tasked with transporting dangerous and precious goods, including loads of bombs and gunpowder. Others were loaded with unknown packages for government secret agencies.

Malcolm Ware  said in a commend of Facebook, “I once picked up a load from Sydney medical Institute, 6 X 7ft long boxes full of frozen human hands, they’d been defrosting all day so when we picked them up the boxes fell apart, what freaked me out you could see the hands through the plastic bag.”

Danno O’Riordan expressed outrage after he conveyed gunpowder without being informed of the content of his cargo. “ (I carried) 8 tonnes of Gun Powder and not being informed by dispatch what I was carrying. Was just told that truck is loaded and here is the address. It’s when I got there and saw it being unloaded that I realised what it was. I was not happy.”

On his part, Moving Forward, said he once carried “Fresh off the cow cowhides . Literally off the cow , folded , salted , thrown onto a pallet dripping wet & warm Of blood . Look like a murder scene wherever I parked for the night , fueling , or to get something to eat .”

These confessions showed how important the trucking industry is, with many praising the drivers for coming to the rescue of their countries, especially at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when morgues were overcrowded with dead bodies that required evacuation to other facilities.

The stories of the truck drivers offer a glimpse into a world that few people ever see. The cargoes are far from the usual goods that most people imagine being transported on the highways. As the trucking industry continues to play a vital role in every nation’s economy, it’s clear that more needs to be done to ensure that all cargo is safe, legal, and humane.
