A young boy from Ivory Coast, who gained attention for flawlessly imitating the football prowess of Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen, has received a generous gift of N2.5 million from the renowned striker.
The story unfolded when a video of the boy, donning a mask resembling Osimhen’s and showcasing impressive football skills, surfaced on popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut’s page.
Captivated by the young talent, Victor Osimhen reached out to Ednut, seeking assistance in locating the aspiring footballer.
Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Tunde Ednut and content creator Eriq Morak, the young boy was successfully traced to Ivory Coast.
The joyous moment was captured on camera as the mother of the gifted youngster expressed her gratitude through heartfelt prayers for the footballer.
Speaking passionately in Yorùbá, the mother conveyed her excitement, saying, “I am very grateful. I am overjoyed. I don’t know what to say. We never expected this, but I want to say thank you to you and the donor. God will continue to provide for him.”
