Just in: Unilorin commences post-UTME tests ahead of new academic session

The University of Ilorin, Ilorin , Nigeria has commenced the post-UTME examination for the 2024–2025 academic session.

The post-UTME test will be held between Monday, February 19, and Friday, February 23, 2024.

In a message on the University of Ilorin official page, the institution wished all candidates who are taking part in the examination “best of luck.”

“Best of luck to everyone participating in the Post-UTME! Remember, we believe in you, and we can’t wait to have you join the vibrant world of UNILORITES!”

Candidates who have met the UNILORIN Post UTME cut-off mark and that of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are the ones sitting for the test.

The University of Ilorin is one of the most popular and sought-after universities in Nigeria.

In 2023, it was announced by the Registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, that Unilorin was the most sought-after university for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), making it the 10th consecutive year.

The university was established by a decree of the federal military government in August, 1975.

The establishment aimed to implement one of the educational directives of the Third National Development Plan by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Unilorin has one of the largest land areas, covering approximately 15,000 hectares of land.
